Funds raised help offset expenses associated with lessons, competition registration, coach fees, out of state rink rental, and travel expenses.
In addition to several United States of America Roller Sports Michigan sanctioned competitions, Rolladium Skating Club skaters spend a weekend in Elyria, OH, competing at the Ohio Cup in April. This year, we'll be spending almost a week in Crystal Lake, IL, for Regionals in June. Then we are off to Cedar Rapids, IA, for the two week Nationals competition in July which will bring our season to a close.

How are the funds divided?

What happens if 2 people request the same square?
- This fundraiser behaves similar to a 50/50 raffle. Half of the square sold will be applied to the selling skater’s account, the other half will be distributed to the appropriate winners.
What are the prizes?
- $5 per square board = Four $62.50 winners
- $10 per square board = Four $125 winners
What determines a winner?
- Winners will be based off the last digit of each team’s score at the end of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters, and the final score. Meaning: If it’s not an overtime game, it will be the 4th quarter score. If it’s an overtime game, it’s the final score.
How do winners claim their prize?
- Checks will be cut from the Rolladium Skating Club account in the name of the skaters who sold the winning squares by Wed, Feb 6. The skater is responsible for cashing the check and delivering the cash winnings by Fri, Feb 8.
What if a board sells out?
- Additional boards MAY be created if consensus is another board would fill up.
What if a board does not sell out?
- Funds will be returned to the supporters by the skaters.
When will the letters on the board convert to numbers?
- Sat, Feb 2, or within 48 hours of sold out board, the letters will be replaced by randomly drawn numbers and the online board will be refreshed.
What happens if 2 people request the same square?
- If multiple people submit orders for the same square(s), the timestamp of the order received by Nicole or Teri will be the deciding factor. If this happens, you will be notified. We will do our best to update the board in a timely manner to minimize the occurrence.
